Description
Burundi's largest economic sector is agriculture, of which 90% is subsistence. Its largest source of revenue is coffee which makes the bulk of its export earnings. Other exports include tea, sugar, cotton and hides. Some of the country's natural resources include Uranium, nickel, cobalt, copper and platinum. Industries include assembly of imported components, public works construction, food processing and production light consumer goods such as blankets and soap.
