Description
Swaziland remains one of the world’s last remaining absolute monarchies, ruled by King Mswati III, who has been on the throne since 1986. The majority of the population are employed in subsistence farming, though unemployment remains very high. The country is heavily dependent on South Africa both for its imports and for its exports.
