Summary
Global warming is already affecting water resources and water delivery in Africa, where there has been significant deterioration of fresh water resources. The 15th African Water Association International Congress 2010 to be held in Uganda, will deliberate the implications of global warming as part of policies aimed at developing clean drinking water and sanitation services in the continent.

The theme of the 15th African Water Association International Congress relates to energy and climate change, and the challenges facing water and sanitation service provision in Africa.

The conference will specifically focus on water and sanitation service delivery, efficient management, investment and financing and research and capacity building.

The event will be opened to an international audience with invitations being extended to exhibitors, sponsors, delegates and experts from  Africa, Asia, Europe and the US.
