Many investment consulting groups this year touted Africa as the 'last investment frontier in the world' for businesses looking for rewarding opportunities. The continent has performed relatively well in terms of growth and return on investment and also weathered the global financial crisis better than expected. Consequently, many countries are seeing more foreign direct investment (FDI) flows. This month TradeInvestAfrica finds big plans in the hospitality industry as hotel operators expand in order to benefit from the increased FDI activity that is bringing business and leisure travellers to Africa. We have also featured plenty of investment opportunities for those looking to do business in Africa in 2011.
