The integration of East Africa’s stock exchanges will be complete next year.

The East African Securities Exchange Association (EASEA) supports a speedy integration of the model that will increase visibility of the East Africa Community's capital markets to foreign investors hence attracting capital benefits in the region.

Members of the EASEA consist of the Chief Executive Officers of the stock exchanges of EAC partner states.  One of the association’s initiatives is to integrate trading, clearing and settlement infrastructures within the East African Community (EAC) to facilitate a faster trading system within the bloc.

The integration of the Exchanges will also bring consolidation of market liquidity across the region, and create a single access point to capital.
