Rwanda President, Paul Kagame, yesterday opened the country's first tractor assembly plant.
The New Times reports the facility will enable Rwandans to buy farming equipment at low prices.
The machines are made by Tong Yang Moolsan, a South Korean company that is planning to increase its investment in the country even further.
Kagame urged Rwandans to embrace modern ways of farming because traditional methods limit the size of land a farmer can cultivate.
Chairman of the Tong Yang Moolsan Company, Hi Yong Kim said the machines will be made in Rwanda and sold to different parts of the world.
