The Agriculture and Rural Development provincial management in eastern Moxico has set aside over one million hectares of arable land as part of a diversification programme.

Project director Antonio da Silva was quoted in Angop saying the ministry is expecting the private sector to invest in the production of crops adaptable to the farming zones.

The Luxia agro-farming zone will get priority among various zones marked for farming projects.
