Summary: The project entails the development of tourist and leisure facilities on 22 000 hectares of prime waterfront land. Proposed facilities include fixed and floating hotels, lodges, bush camps, golf estates; residential, entertainment and retail facilities, medical facility, marina and airport.  |

Investment cost: $701-million - comprising of a grant of $350-million, a loan of $331-million and $20-million contingent provision. The rights granted in terms of the lease over land have been estimated at $55-million, which can also be used as collateral.

Return on investment: 41%.
